The StoreFront concept was built on the basis that there are no E-commerce platforms that truly cater to new and emerging Brands.

The core group of already established platforms take far too much money, and their display algorithms are overwhelmingly catered to bigger brands that spend more money on marketing.

This is where we differ. We give each and every Brand - Big or Small, an equal fighting chance to succeed. Our algorithm does not play favourites, and Brand success is purely based on the quality of the products listed.

We should also note that we are truly embracing a growth mindset at StoreFront. If you grow, we grow - so we are doing our absolute best to minimise our impact on your profits so you can flourish on your own.

For this reason, StoreFront is free to use! While we still have to take a small percent of each sale (equal market low 5%) to cover our server costs, Brands can still list products for our Users to swipe on at zero cost whatsoever - meaning that there is literally no reason to not sign up… It’s free marketing!

Product Display and Algorithm

At StoreFront, our product display is what truly sets us apart from our competitors. Since we present our Users with just one item at a time, it means that each and every listing gets the viewing care that it deserves. This simply does not happen on other platforms as item saturation is far too high, meaning that Users are overwhelmed with choice and often do not even notice 95% of the products shown to them.

For Brands, this is extremely disheartening - we know how much hard work goes into designing and developing products for people to love. So, StoreFront does not let that effort go unnoticed.

In order to do so, our algorithm ONLY focuses on two key product factors. The item type (and its features) in the form of tags, and its like-to-dislike ratio (at a minimum of 5000 views). As a result, we can confidently say that browsing on StoreFront is as unbiased as possible - and we fully intend to keep it this way.

By ensuring that each product is given the viewing care that it deserves, we are able to provide truly unrivalled data and insights to Brands about their offerings, and can help them identify trends in order to maximise their own profitability.

As previously mentioned, one of our goals at StoreFront is to minimise our impact on Brand profitability. We want our Brands to be just as successful as we are, and have built our revenue model on that basis.

By only taking 5% of each sale, we are able to rival market leaders like Shopify and Instagram/Facebook Store. Although we don't yet have the size to knock off payment processing fees (which we plan to do when we grow), we offer a much more tailored solution for both Brands and Users, which is likely to increase sale conversion rates and overall Brand profits.
